Lou Dorfsman

Lately, I've been scrolling through work by Lou Dorfsman. The majority of his working years were spent with CBS. He took a major role in branding CBS and setting a tone for branding in the larger corporate sphere. Personally, I admire his style for its simplicity. Dorfsman achieves sophistication in simple design. His style is consistent yet powerful throughout his work. His work will most certainly be a point of inspiration for me in the future.

VSCO cam

A photographer friend first introduced me to this app called vsco cam. I initially loved it for quick photo editing purposes. As I looked more into their blog and website, I realized that they have a strong brand identity worth noting. Their style is captured not only in their logo, but also throughout one's experience and interaction with their products (blog, website, programs).

Menu Design

I have always been interested in menu design. It can be an important component of the dining experience. People might look at an unfamiliar dish and be inspired to try something new.

Logos

I appreciate that these logos all creatively incorporate an image associated with the company. It blends together graphic and image to communicate a message about the group.

Moe Takemura

As someone who admires food and design, I was inspired by Moe Takemura's work here. She brings together Japanese cooking tradition and Swedish design aesthetic into one beautifully composed book. It allows you to see ordinary food in a new light.

Bruschetta

I started doodling basic instructions to making one of my favorite appetizers. So simple, yet so delicious!
